ZOE e-Sport Concept unveiled by Renault at Geneva

The ZOE e-Sport Concept is every bit as impressive as the GTs entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans! Like the cars that will feature on the Le Mans grid in June, this concept car is based on a production model that Renault has morphed into a mean racing machine by drawing on the technology developed in the all-electric single-seater Formula E championship, fought on street circuits.

Weighing in at just 1400 kg and powered by two electric motors delivering 460 bhp, the four-wheel-drive ZOE e-Sport Concept can accelerate from standstill to 100 kph in an impressively quick time of 3.2 seconds!

Inside and out, the ZOE e-Sport Concept boasts all the design attributes of a modern racing car: carbon fibre body, flat undercarriage for outstanding aerodynamics, aluminium alloy wheels with central locking nut and slick tyres, roll cage, bucket seats with harness, and a rectangular steering wheel.

Like many of his peers on the endurance scene, such as Toyota works drivers Sébastien Buemi and Stéphane Sarrazin, or Ferrari ace Sam Bird, Nicolas Prost also enjoys competing in the FIA Formula E championship. The French driver, who will be lining up in an Oreca 07 LM P2 for the Vaillante Rebellion team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, has already taken to the Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept!
