Bernard Ollivier (Alpine) talks about the new road car and Le Mans (video)

During a recent Club soirée for friends of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which took place on Thursday, October 27th in Couëron (a suburb of Nantes), Alpine Deputy Managing Director Bernard Ollivier discussed the new series car as well as the marque's past and future at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Since the inception of the Alpine marque, thanks to its founder Jean Rédélé, no less than 59 factory cars have participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with an overall win in 1978, and class victories namely in LM P2 this year. Currently in the lead of the FIA Endurance LM P2 Teams Trophy provisional standings, Alpine has won four of the seven World Endurance Championship (WEC) races since the beginning of the season.

And the saga continues...Bernard Ollivier has confirmed Alpine's return in 2017 as well as the release of the new series car (which will not be called the Vision). To learn more, check out this interview of Bernard Ollivier conducted by Fabrice Bourrigaud, head of Esprit Le Mans, along with Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest!
