DESCRIPTION AND COMPOSITION
Discover the rich history of the iconic Le Mans circuit.
*Book available in French only
Built in 1965 and inaugurated in 1966, the Bugatti Circuit was a response to the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's desire for a permanent track, primarily to open a driving school. How did this "small Le Mans circuit", which uses part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans track and infrastructure, become, sixty years later, a major venue for car and motorcycle motorsports?
National championships, Formula 3000 in the 1990s, MotoGP Grand Prix, 24 Hours Motos and Trucks, Dragster Festival, GP Explorer, and even 24 Hours Cycling! Stéphane Barbé tells us the great story of this circuit, from the 1967 French Formula 1 Grand Prix to Johann Zarco's victory in the 2025 French MotoGP Grand Prix, through numerous photos and exclusive testimonies.
