DESCRIPTION AND COMPOSITION
Poster of the BMW V12 LMR, winner of the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans (frame not included.) Exclusive poster collection for the 100th anniversary of the event.
This collector's poster from the 24 Hours of Le Mans centenary collection features the BMW V12 LMR, winner of Le Mans in 1999. After a double retirement in 1998, BMW modified its strategy and appointed Gerhard Berger, former Formula 1 driver, as head of BMW Motorsport. Under his direction, two V12 LMRs were entrusted to the Schnitzer team, and the decision began to bear fruit. The V12 LMR driven by Tom Kristensen, JJ Lehto and Jorg Müller won its first race at the 12 Hours of Sebring that year.
