DESCRIPTION AND COMPOSITION
24 Hours of Le Mans Comic Books 1923-1930
The history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans began on May 26, 1923, at 4 p.m. This brand-new event was created by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest four years after the end of the Great War. Although still confidential, it attracted foreign competitors, such as the Englishman Bentley. For this first edition, he only finished fourth, but was completely won over by the experience. In subsequent years, the "Bentley Boys" – a group of wealthy gentleman drivers – would return to write the myth of the competition and the history of motor sport.
This new episode of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in comic books takes you back to the origins of the famous endurance race!
