DESCRIPTION AND COMPOSITION
24 Hours of Le Mans Comic Strip 1951-1957
24 Hours of Le Mans, 1957. Following an incredible turn of events, Jaguar achieved its 5th victory at Le Mans with 4 of its famous "D-type" cars leading the race. Following this exploit, a journalist interviews "Lofty" England, Jaguar's technical and sporting director, to look back at the brand's history: from abandoning the name "SS" (ill-advised after the Second World War) for Jaguar, to its beginnings in motor racing, and its first moments of glory...
Through this interview, we follow, via flashbacks, a pivotal period for the legendary Jaguar brand, whose racing history is intimately linked to that of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
