To celebrate the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this book brings together all the posters from the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1923 to 2023. Artistic gems, graphic testimonies, the posters are detailed, explained, and commented on to discover or rediscover the history of the event.

A century is a long time! But what a wealth of moments. The 24 Hours of Le Mans even subdivides its famous double clock every year into very small seconds and even tenths. A day of more intense time, for an audience as passionate as the drivers.

The poster designers, illustrators, photographers, and graphic designers commissioned by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, founder, organizer, and guardian of the event, have endeavored each year to represent or symbolize this magic, this snapshot of endurance.

A collection that blends precious artistic gems and simple commercial messages, but even those that were judged trivial when they appeared are imbued with the spirit and art of their time. A patient collection of moments of speed, all the posters of the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 1923 and 2023 are reproduced here.
