A century is a long time! But what a wealth of moments. Each year, the 24 Hours of Le Mans even subdivide their famous double lap of the clock into tiny seconds and even tenths. A day of more intense time, for a passionate public as much as for the drivers.

Each year, the poster artists, designers, photographers and computer graphics artists commissioned by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, founder, organiser and guardian of the event, have tried to represent or symbolise this magic, this snapshot of endurance.

It's a collection that mixes precious artistic nuggets with simple commercial messages, but even those that were considered banal when they first appeared are steeped in the zeitgeist and the art of the times. A patient collection of moments of speed, all the posters from the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 1923 and 2023 are reproduced here.
