ART PAPER IN AMERICAN BOX

Paper :

FA Baryta 325g from Hahnemühle

  •         325g/m², 100% cellulose α
  •         Brilliant white
  •         Gently pronounced surface
  •         Satin inkjet coating for outstanding print results
  •         Acid and lignin free
  •         Complies with ISO 9706 / museum quality for the highest conservation standards

FineArt Baryta from Hahnemühle is a bright white, cellulose based inkjet coated paper specially developed for FineArt applications. Its clearly visible and delicately pronounced felt-like structure gives the paper a pleasant texture to the touch. It creates prints of stunning three-dimensionality and depth. The high-gloss, high-quality inkjet coating provides excellent printing results: perfect colours and details, deep black and an impressive contrast ratio. The barium sulphate content in the coating gives FineArt Baryta the traditional look of silver baryta paper, making it a popular alternative for inkjet printing. Acid-free and lignin-free, this FineArt inkjet paper meets the highest demands in terms of preservation. FineArt Baryta is a versatile classic in applications. It sets new standards for the printing of black-&-white and colour photographs.

The printing technique and plotter :

Epson UltraChrome HDR pigment inks.

These inks, specifically designed for Epson inkjet, provide a durability of up to 100 years (under good conservation conditions).

Plotter equipment: SureColor P9000 (max width: 110cm) and SureCOlor P20000 (max width: 160cm)

The finish :

The paper is then glued using a double-sided PH neutral (acid-free) adhesive for better conservation over time, on a DILITE 2mm dibon plate with the following characteristics:

  •         Thickness : 2mm
  •         Aluminium foil / Polyethylene / Aluminium foil
  •         Aluminium slice / black / aluminium
  •         3kg/m².
  •         Fire rated M1

The whole thing is then covered with an American matt lacquered or solid wood box, depending on the colour. They are made to measure for each order by Nielsen. All made in France.

DIRECT PRINTING ON PLEXI

Printing directly onto a 3 mm thick Plexiglas (or extruded PMMA) sheet. The printing technique is no longer inkjet but UV ink. This technique is ideal for printing on rigid substrates and thus allows the creation of very resistant and very large format prints.

The inks deposited on the surface of the material are instantly dried and hardened with ultraviolet light, guaranteeing the photo board exceptional resistance. It is therefore an ideal and original technique both for decoration and for exhibitions intended to face difficult conditions, outdoors for example.
