With eight manufacturers in the top category, the 2025 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans promised an epic spectacle—and it delivered. The 332,000 spectators in attendance—a record—were not disappointed, with the highlight being a Ferrari vs. Porsche duel that kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the very end.

In the end, the Italian manufacturer secured its twelfth victory on the Le Mans circuit, the third consecutive win. But after car No. 51 in 2023 and No. 50 in 2024, it was the privately entered AF Corse 499P No. 83 that triumphed, thanks to Briton Phil Hanson, Chinese driver Yifei Ye, and Pole Robert Kubica. The hero of this 93rd edition, Kubica came full circle—he had been on the verge of joining Ferrari in Formula 1 before a terrible rally accident left his right arm severely injured. An achievement destined to go down in the history books.

Finishing second overall, Porsche will take consolation in a second consecutive victory in LMGT3, thanks to the Manthey 1st Phorm 911 GT3 R driven by Richard Lietz, Ryan Hardwick, and Riccardo Pera. In LMP2, Inter Europol Competition reclaimed its title with Jakub Smiechowski, Tom Dillmann, and Nick Yelloly, while AO Racing by TF won the LMP2 Pro/Am category with the trio PJ Hyett, Louis Delétraz, and Dane Cameron.
